(AMP), for ColumbiaDoctors, has an exciting opportunity available for an Exercise Physiologist to join our dynamic team! This is a Full Time position located in Suffern, NY.

is a management services organization that provides administrative and clinical support staff for ColumbiaDoctors Medical Group and ColumbiaDoctors of the Hudson Valley.
ColumbiaDoctors is one of the largest multi-specialty practices in New York State, comprised of an experienced group of physicians specializing in Cardiology, Vascular Disease, Internal Medicine, Obesity, Podiatry, Gastroenterology, and Endocrinology.
Our group is comprised of over 50 Columbia physicians treating patients throughout Westchester, Rockland and Orange counties.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Review patient medical history and rationale for stress testing Interview and educate patients pre-stress test Prepare patients for stress testing Administer and supervise exercise and non-pharmacologic stress tests Provide preliminary stress test interpretation Provide static and dynamic EKG monitoring and interpretation (12 lead and rhythm strips) during the stress test Perform rest and exercise blood pressure monitoring Collaborate with stress technologist and clinical team Assist with stress equipment maintenance and calibration Provision of technical support in emergency situations Requirements Include:
Degree in Exercise Physiology, certification, and nursing or similar science-based allied health curriculum required Completed ACSM Clinical Exercise Specialist or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification preferred Minimum of 1-year work experience in a cardiac stress testing lab preferred Requires good communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to provide physical assistance to patients when needed Must be BLS/ACLS certified required Candidates must demonstrate 12 Lead EKG interpretation and arrhythmia recognition skills.
