Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team.
As the first point of contact for our dental office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental or medical office setting and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries - Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing - Maintain patient records and update information as necessary - Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow - Manage patient scheduling, including follow-up appointments and reminders - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting is preferred - Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or eClinicalWorks - Familiarity with medical terminology and dental procedures - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance - Ability to work well in a team environment We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
This is a full-time position with regular office hours.
