2 Montebello, NY Montebello, NY Full-time Full-time $18 - $39 an hour $18 - $39 an hour 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago Job Purpose Long-term care (LTC) facilities must electronically submit to CMS (Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services) through the PBJ (Payroll Based Journal) system complete and accurate direct care staffing information, including information for agency and contract staff, based on payroll and other data in a uniform format, according to specifications established by CMS.
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the PBJ Senior Specialist with the collection of PBJ data from client facilities and ensure timely and accurate submission of data to CMS, as well as assist with reporting on the data.
Duties & Responsibilities uties and responsibilities Assist with collection of PBJ data from external time and attendance systems, modify data to add it to Apex internal databases, and ensure data meets PBJ guidelines.
Assist with ensuring all PBJ data snapshots are sent out in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist with ensuring all input sheets submitted by facilities are getting processed accurately and timely.
Assist with completing PBJ reviews in a timely fashion.
Respond to questions related to PBJ submission process.
Due to nature of PBJ submission process and reporting deadlines, occasional evening and weekend availability may be required.
Qualifications Ideal candidate will be an individual who possesses the following
Qualifications:
HS diploma or equivalent.
Strong technical skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, including excellent problem-solving ability.
Working conditions This job occurs in an office environment with mostly sedentary work.
