Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our team.
The Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc.
, using machine and manual cleaning methods.
Responsibilities:
Load, run, and unload dishwashing machines.
Wash specific items by hand when necessary.
Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Provides deeper weekly cleaning to small kitchen equipment such as ice cream and beverage machines, toasters, and microwaves.
Mop all floors daily Takes out trash daily.
Assists in the prepping of ingredients for all meal periods and special events.
Assists in the setup and breakdown process for all meal periods.
Keeps dining room stocked with coffee, tea, cereal, fresh bread, ice cream, etc.
Skills:
- Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
