POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director of Social Services, assists in meeting the psycho-social needs of residents in an effort to enable them to achieve their optimal level of health and psycho-social functioning. Must be able to cover all Social Work issues, MDS, care plan etc. on a busy floor as well as assisting with Admissions. LMSW/LCSW with interest in working with geriatrics, primarily with Alzheimer''s in a long term care setting required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Master of Social Work from an accredited university; LMSW or LCSW preferred.
2. Good writing and communication skills; good computer skills.
3. Minimum of two years' experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in a long term care facility.
